For the first time, Apple's AirPods are available in two versions
The first version is a simple update following the AirPods 3. The second, meanwhile, is now equipped with an active noise reduction system. This new feature, unprecedented for "standard" AirPods, almost allows it to match the AirPods Pro 2, while being offered at a more affordable price.
Like all the best noise-canceling headphones, the AirPods 4 adopt a transparency mode to stay alert to surrounding noise. We can also count on the integration of adaptive audio, which optimizes the level of noise reduction and the volume in real time, depending on the environment.

Refined design, reduced case and QI wireless charging for the ANC version
In terms of design, both versions have been revisited to become "the most comfortable AirPods ever created by Apple". Unsurprisingly, Apple will stop selling the AirPods 2 and 3 in favor of these new models that completely redefine the design of its entry-level wireless headphones.
The AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation will be available on September 20, 2024 at prices of $129 and $179 respectively.
